Cherry Street Mission
Cherry Street Mission works to eradicate poverty (body, mind, spirit) through emergency shelter, case management workforce development, and supportive services.
Cherry Street Mission has been in our community for over 79 years, most known for providing emergency shelter, food, and basic necessities. Over our history, we have evolved to a dynamic spectrum of programs and services offered.
The Ready for Life program provides wrap-around case management and supportive services for individuals in our shelter, to work on their goals and move out into their own housing and remain stable in the community with a network of support.
Workforce Development offers over 8 career training programs (and growing) for in-demand jobs that ensure individuals can obtain meaningful employment.
After individuals graduate from our program & classes, we continue to follow-up and provide support until they are confident in their independence.
