Neighborhood Properties does whatever it takes to help residents as they recover from mental illness or addiction disorders. We also provide access to training in independent living skills, including:

Preparing for the world of work/volunteerism

Our goal is to prevent the recurrence of homelessness while inspiring hope, wellness, and recovery.

Emotional support is also an anchoring resource found at Neighborhood Properties. The Wellness and Recovery Center is an innovative peer-run support community that serves individuals struggling with emotional distress. The Center offers a home-like alternative to hospitalization for those at risk of a behavioral health crisis. The Center’s staff consists of peer specialists with their own experiences overcoming mental or emotional trauma. The Lucas County Emotional Support Line is also operated and run by The Wellness and Recovery staff allowing for a residential environment or a warmline option for all Lucas County residents 18 and over.
